In April 2007, BISTA facilitated Twinning Agreements between Royal NIVRA and ACAP as well as Royal NIVRA  with support from IFAC, together with South Eastern Partnership for Accountancy Development (SEEPAD), its professional member bodies, and leading professional accountancy bodies from Western Europe will enter into twinning agreements to accelerate compliance with international standards. This alliance will develop a sustainable, twinning model with global relevance for professional bodies and universities.
